Makenzie, Founder of KAKAO Ceremonial Drinking Chocolate is going on tour this fall in the USA to share KAKAO x Kava Ceremonies The vision for this tour is to collectively cultivate frequencies of peace, oneness & harmony, in the middle of what could be a chaotic and divisive time in the USA. My commitment is to share the Aloha, the medicines of Ceremonial Cacao + 'Awa (Hawaiian kava), and the spirit of the Yawanawa (the lineage I am connected to for chant & song) with as many people as possible. Join this ceremonial circle in Gilbert, AZ, which will include an introduction to ceremonial-grade cacao + ceremonial-grade 'awa (Hawaiian kava). My circles are safe spaces for connection, receiving, slowing down, dropping into our hearts and rising into our higher selves. You can expect a short guided meditation, heart opening music to support the journey and a sharing circle. These gatherings are typically around 2 hours, but to be safe block 3 hours on your calendar. Nursing mamas and babies are welcome in the space. Please bring: A full water bottle to stay hydrated. We may also ask you to bring a yoga mat, depending on the specific venue. Makenzie will email you before the start of the event with any specific instructions, i.e. what to bring, parking, etc. General outline for each circle: Arrive at the start time and check in Introduction from Makenzie and support team. Sharing of 'awa (hawaiian kava) in the sacred strain called Mo'i; will include a guided meditation and song/chant for you to fully receive the power of this ancient plant from the pacific islands, which is known as the plant of peace and root of happiness. Transition into the KAKAO portion; receive a cup of hot ceremonial grade cacao; will include an invocation and intentionally curated music for you to fully receive the nourishment of this sacred medicine, known as a heart opener and access to abundance throughout central and south america.
