Pastry Engineering 101 for Kids!

We invite your kids, ages 10-15 to discover the science of baking! Students learn both common and complex dessert recipes and the corresponding chemical reactions that make it all possible. This fun and engaging hands on class teaches the similarities between culinary arts and the sciences, while exploring tangible and digestible scientific principles. Kids will be creating Pate Au Choux, Chocolate Mousse, Macerated Strawberries and Lemon Chantilly. This class is led by Georgia Tech alumna, and pastry professional Kia Benion, founder of The Pastry Engineer.
