How Do I Use That? | Spiralizers & Mandolines Informative workshops dedicated to demonstrating cooking techniques with new-to-you ingredients. Spiralizers and Mandolines; kitchen tools that offer time saving ways to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet. But how do you use them effectively and safely? This is the perfect opportunity to try these gadgets out before you buy or learn new ways to use the tools languishing in your cupboards. Discover healthy recipes and uniform cooking, from Asian slaw to zucchini noodles; the possibilities are endless! Perfect for anyone who ever wondered: "How do I use that?" Suggested recipes: Spiralized Asian Cucumber Slaw Zucchini Noodle “Pasta” Butternut Squash “Pasta” with Brown Butter Bo Saam Wraps Potato Chips & French Fries Participants will receive a voucher for 20% off any spiralizer or mandoline at Bradshaws & Kitchen Detail after completing the class! Instructor: Eli Silverthorne Tuesday, June 2 | 6:00 – 9:00pm $60 per person (+ service fee*) This class is presented in collaboration with Open Kitchen’s Season Partner This class has a maximum capacity of 14 students. Safety regulations require students wear closed toe shoes when participating in any cooking class. Classes are for students 16 years and older. Participants will be provided with an apron and all necessary tools and equipment. Menus, recipes and instructors are subject to change as required. If you need to cancel a class, it is possible to get a refund (less the service fee) up to 7 days before the date of the event via your universe.com account. A credit note may be issued for cancellations received by email (email@example.com) a minimum of 48 hours before the event. Please note that there are no credit notes or refunds for missed classes or classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the event. Help us help the environment! In the off chance we make too much, please bring a container with you to help take home any leftovers. (One 1 litre container is recommended). It is the participant's responsibility to inform Stratford Chefs School of any serious food or environmental allergies and their nature no less than 48 hours before the start of class.
