The Rotaract Clubs of Mississauga, Oakville, and Brampton are hosting their first joint Gala, Night of a Thousand Stars, at Mississauga Grand Banquet and Event Centre in Mississauga on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Thanks to One Health Clubs, all attendees will receive a gift card valued at $350 that includes a 60-day all-Inclusive pass and more!
The Rotaract Clubs always aspire to live everyday by the motto “Service Above Self” and believe that the more you give, the more you receive. The Gala provides the opportunity each year for Rotaract to give back by identifying an area in need within their community. All the proceeds from the Gala are donated to an organization to empower the people and community. Every year the gala delivers a spectacular night filled with amazing food, music and performances. Last year’s star studded event supported The Erin Mills Youth Centre, which raised over five thousand dollars to provide underprivileged youth in the area with breakfast programs, after school activities and summer camps.
This year’s red carpet event is in support of Canadian Tire's Jumpstart Charity program.
In 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities was launched to address an issue of national concern; the inactivity of kids. National in scope, but local in its focus, Jumpstart helps kids in financial need participate in organized sports and physical activities by assisting with the costs associated with registration, equipment and/or transportation.
