With a career spanning over 50 years, Michael has topped the Pop, Country, Western, and Bluegrass charts with iconic hits like "Wildfire," "Carolina In The Pines," "What’s Forever For," and "Geronimo's Cadillac." A true pioneer of the "Cosmic Cowboy" movement, he helped shape the "Outlaw" Country scene in Austin, Texas. Michael's songs have been recorded by artists such as Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash. A recipient of multiple awards, including gold albums and a Grammy nomination, Michael continues to celebrate the spirit of the American West through his music.
