JOIN MCAM NORTHWEST AND OMIC ACADEMY FOR A MASTERCAM WORKSHOP!
OMIC R&D has teamed up with MCAM Northwest for a knowledge transfer workshop. This class is designed for CTE instructors both new to Mastercam and wanting to freshen their skills.
-Lunch will be provided.
-Please bring a laptop.
-Limit 30 attendees.

Agenda:
9:00-10:00: Introductions, networking time, systems testing.
10:00-11:30: Mastercam Mill Basics, covering importing models, setting up machine groups, planes, levels,basic toolpathing, and posting code. Post processor chat and support.
11:30-12:30 Lunch/OMIC tour.
12:30-2:30 Mastercam Lathe Basics, including separating from an assembly, moving machine coordinatesystems, lathe toolpathing, multiple parts, and machine groups. Licensing chat for schools and how OMICcan work with you.
2:30-2:45 Break.
2:45-4:00 Important new features in Mastercam 2024, where to find additional resources, Mastercam'scoverage of essentially all machine types, A brief on Mill/Turn environments and the importance ofsimulation for all machine types, Q&A.
