Taking place the morning of Tuesday, 4 April (10am to 1pm) at the Regent Street Cinema, the three-hour London Games Festival: Mixed Reality Summit will explore AR, VR and everything in between with thought provoking talks and panels.
Our opening keynote comes is a fireside chat with John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic Labs, famous of course for developing 2016’s most ubiquitous game, Pokemon GO. John will join us to talk about around Niantic's core focus: exploration, exercise and social - all through the lens of its two major creations, Ingress and Pokemon GO.
Other talks during the summit will include live demos of upcoming VR and AR games; content looking at how VR and AR are mixing games with other mediums like theatre, film and storytelling in general; plus a look at where VR content is (and isn’t) selling around the world, and if the investment opportunity is really still there.
