Join author of Let Your Fears Make You Fierce, and founder of Get Loved Up, Koya Webb, for a workshop focused on self-care, spiritual connection and conscious community.
The evening will kick off with Koya’s expert Self Care Panel featuring special guests, Shanté Haymore-Kearney of Brown Goddess Collective, Naya Rappaport, and Gabriela Guzman. These guests will share how they practice self-care while juggling high demands in life. This will be followed by an audience Q & A and an energizing breath-work practice, a powerful form of meditation, to gain mental clarity, reduce stress and anxiety.
Koya will guide you through a two-stage pranayama technique that activates the parasympathetic nervous system putting your body in a relaxed state. Every time you practice breath-work you will have a different experience. Some people feel tingly sensations all over their body. Some people feel lighter, relaxed, and more mental clarity. Benefits include but are not limited to; stress reduction, relaxation, mental clarity, emotional release, pain release, improved sleep and elevation of mood.
Afterwards Koya will facilitate a sharing circle and sign copies of her book which are included in the ticket price.

Shanté Haymore-Kearney is a
champion for personal empowerment and wellness of the mind, body, and soul. The
first time Shante’ tried yoga was in Chicago and she vowed to “never do it
again,” but that wouldn’t be the case. But she was hooked once she was able to
experience a deeper level of yoga and
meditation. Shante’ has guided and taught hundreds of people to connect
with their inner peace and personal power through movement and meditation. Shante
leads a heart-centered and down-to-earth class that anyone can do and
In 2018, Shante’ launched Brown
Goddess Collective, a community of wellness for womxn all shades of brown,
creating connection through yoga, meditation,
mindfulness, and conscious gatherings.
Shante is an experienced
trauma-informed educator and yoga and mindfulness teacher and facilitates
trainings throughout South Florida with Kristi House Child Advocacy Center and
Connection Coalition. Shante’ keeps balanced by spending
time in nature, and enjoying family activities and quality time with friends.
In her spare time, you can find her looking in the dirt for bugs or playing
dinosaurs with her 4-year old son. She loves spending time at her
shops, restaurants, and nature spots.

As a yoga teacher Naya believes yoga is for every BODY, human, gender, and age. Yoga never stops revealing new lessons— a discovery that she first made while committing to a daily practice over 8 years ago. Today, she teaches yoga in her community, travels internationally, has online classes and hosts yoga retreats. She continues her education and is currently undergoing a 220hr Kundalini Yoga teacher training.
Early 2019 Naya teamed up with Tri-County Animal Rescue (non kill) shelter in Boca Raton, FL. She merged her passion of yoga and animals to create #DownDogWithDogs a Doga class. The class is a $15 donation in which ALL proceeds go to Tri-County Animal Rescue.
Naya collaborates with her best friend Ashley Ricardo to host beach cleanups. The foundation (in progress) is called #BikiniBeachCleanup and has gotten the attention of local and international news. Their attention grabbing goal is to spread awareness about pollution, to protect marine life , create conscious community and inspire everyone to decrease their plastic intake.
Gaby is a Strategist, Business Coach, and "Madrina" empowering women to be who they are, so they can be free.
Through experiences like "The Board Ritual" and the women entrepreneur community, Las Comadres, Gaby helps women develop the clarity, confidence, and support they need. She creates spaces that invite women to connect deeply to themselves and each other, dream as big as they want to dream, and go after it.
Gaby is passionate about interior design, motherhood, civic engagement, and dinner parties. She lives in Miami with her 9-year old son, Matias.
Her desire to use the arts as a tool for healing is her motivation to keep transforming communities. Nzingah Oniwosan is a Haitian-American inspirational speaker, certified yoga instructor and holistic health consultant. As an award-winning interdisciplinary artist, She has worked directly with over 100,000 children and adults nationally and internationally to help integrate arts and culture seamlessly. Founded in 2005, her company, Sankofa’s Child uses art to engage, build, inspire, and heal individuals, families, and communities. The impact of her work has lead her to speak and lead professional development workshops at national and international conferences. She has been featured in the Sun-Sentinel, Essence Magazine, Mantra Magazine, Heart Soul Magazine, Veg News, and Art & Culture Magazine. In 2015 she was one of Legacy Magazine's “40 under 40” honorees. Her most recent projects include YesBabyILikeItRaw.com a food and holistic lifestyle blog that inspires people to tap into their “RAW” power to be a better version of themselves. She has committed to changing the entrepreneurial landscape in Haiti as the co-founder of Impact Hub Port-au-Prince, a co-working space for social entrepreneurs to grow, thrive and connect. This project is in partnership with Facebook, Google and the United States Embassy.
