Jonathan Franzen, a longtime contributor to The New Yorker, is the author of five novels, including “The Corrections,” “Freedom,” and “Purity,” and five works of nonfiction, most recently “The Kraus Project” and “The End of the End of the Earth,” all published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux. His new novel, “Crossroads,” will be published on October 5th.
Tara Westover is an award-winning writer whose work has been translated into forty-five languages. Her critically renowned 2018 memoir, “Educated,” remained on the New York Times best-seller list for more than two years, and received numerous honors, including nominations for the National Book Critics Circle Award, the PEN/Jean Stein Book Award, and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Time named Westover one of the hundred most influential people in 2019 for her impact.
Henry Finder has been the editorial director of The New Yorker since 1997. Formerly the executive editor of the quarterly Transition, he has edited several anthologies drawn from The New Yorker’s archives.
