Fronted by harp man Ernie Pinata, the ensemble includes a tasty three-piece horn section and a tight rhythm section that never misses a beat,” said Noxon.
“Voted best Sacramento Area Blues Band in the 2007 Blues Challenge, sponsored by the Sacramento Blues Society, the Delta Wires have shared the stage with Van Morrison, John Lee Hooker, Boz Scaggs, The Doobie Brothers, Charlie Musselwhite, John Mayall, Buddy Guy, Cold Blood, Elvin Bishop, Jerry Garcia and .38 Special. They also performed at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival no fewer than eight times, and recently headlined the Shasta Blues Society’s ‘Blues By the River’ Festival,” added Noxon.
