JHOVE Hack Week
Open Preservation Foundation
Following the success of our previous JHOVE hack days, we will be running an online hack week from 8-12 April. JHOVE is an open source file format validation tool, maintained by the Open Preservation Foundation as part of the reference toolset. The overall aim of this development hack week is to improve JHOVE, benefitting users. We plan to concentrate on the ‘quick fixes’ to reduce JHOVE’s issue list and make it easier to assign bug fixes and new features to future releases. We are planning a second hack week in September, with a goal to update and create new documentation.
