VELVET Velvet are an indie/shoegaze band from Glasgow. They’ve secured airplay on CamGlen and Amazing Radio and they’ve been championed by Jim Gellatly via his new music column in The Sun. Their debut single ’Underglo’ was released exactly one year ago followed by their EP ‘Everybody Wants to Be Famous in Japan’ collectively earning the group over 30,000 streams on Spotify. Their latest EP is scheduled for release in December. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/velvetbandglasgow
THE SHOALS Falkirk quartet The Shoals, occasionally performing as a five-piece, have self-organised, promoted and sold out several hometown shows, as well as one in Glasgow. They’ve played festivals like AMP Music Festival in Armadale and are confirmed for a slot at King Tut’s New Years Revolution festival next year.
