Hit The Road is a national youth music project that provides young musicians living in Scotland, age 14-19 years old, the opportunity to learn about the live industry before embarking on a professionally managed tour.
NB: this gig is for anyone age 14 years and over, anyone under 18 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times (please remember to take ID if applicable)
ANGRY MAN CAR PARK formed last year, Aberdeen quartet Angry Man Car Park have supported Vistas, Retro Video Club, The Nickajack Men, performed at festivals such as Newport and Grampian Pride and even have branded Angry Man Car Park skateboards. They sold out their debut hometown show at Captain Tom’s and have since played a live session for Sofar Sounds. THE MONOCASTERS are a young four-piece band from Glasgow. They released their debut split 7” vinyl “I Need Something” last year and have generated airplay across various community radio stations as a result. The band are scheduled to support Kyle Falconer from The View at Milton Music Festival and Live At Troon Festival in September. PYRO are a young indie/rock duo from Bathgate. The 19-year-old school friends, Cameron McLean and Connor McCarthy, formed in 2016 and have since secured airplay from Vic Galloway via BBC Introducing, Jim Gellatly on his Amazing Radio show and his column in The Sun. They’ve featured as the Artist of the Week in Scotland On Sunday and been championed by Tenement TV. Latest single “Tear Me Down” is out via Vadana Records.
