Early Bird Tickets go on sale on 9/17 for only $60 per person till Sept. 30...then $75 from Oct. 1 till the Great Event!
5:30*** Doors open to come on in to say hello to friends and get a good seat for the performance! You will want to be seen at this momentous event!
6:00*** Our Kick-off entertainment for the evening will be via Paul Garrison's Ruus Shakespeareans. We are proud to help support this program every year! They will be performing an abbreviated play in the Council Chambers at 6pm sharp!
The Ruus Shakespeareans is an after-school program for 5th and 6th graders who put together an annual unabridged production of one of Shakespeare's plays. Within each play, the students also perform a full set list of contemporary music that helps to tell the story. Each song, typically a rock song, is related to the theme of the play. The band's instruments include guitars, keyboard, drums, and vocals. The Ruus Shakespeareans learn about language and diction, teamwork, focus, discipline, patience, and commitment, among other things. Throughout the year the students attend daily rehearsals, while also getting music lessons to their specific instruments.
6:30*** The evening will progress with fabulous food from Landeza's Island Catering, drinks, and musical entertainment by Moreau Catholic High School's Jazz Trio. Take a moment to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Additionally, we will offer a raffle in which you will want to try to win the prize of your dreams!
Why are we throwing this party? To celebrate our Sponsors, without whom our achievements would be minimal! We distribute what we receive, and the more we receive, the more money goes to Hayward classrooms.
