Description
Facilitation is a skill that we use to support our clients and learners in order that they can get the most from the session and their interaction with the horses.
On this HAE Development Day for Horse Assisted Educators, Therapists and Coaches, we will explore the role of the Facilitator in Equine Guided Learning.
Led by Tess Cope (The Transformation Agency) and Sarah Vivian (Horserenity), we will look at how we get ourselves ready to facilitate and examine the role of the facilitator in terms of the impact that our unconscious biases, preferred style and communication have on the client and the horse.
Each of the different Equine Guided Learning models works with facilitation in different ways, so the day will be an opportunity to examine your own style and learn from others about theirs.
The day includes classroom sessions, interspersed with practical horse-time and real examples that will bring this topic to life in a memorable and experiential way - ensuring it provides some stretch and growth for us all. We trust that you will leave feeling able to facilitate effectively, sensitively and with more confidence.
