The goal of these workshop is that everyone who attends it will be Google Analytics certified by the end of the workshop.
Bring your own laptop. This is a hands-on learning course. Either analyze your own Google Analytics data during the course or use our demo account. By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Understand how to use Standard Reports to answer questions about your visitors:
Who are they?
Where are they from?
What are they doing?
What are they worth?
Correctly tag marketing campaigns so that data properly populates reports
Segment your data to uncover more insights
Understand why a Measurement Plan is critical and how to decide which KPIs and goals are most relevant to you
Create custom segments, custom reports, goals, funnels, dashboards, shortcuts, exported reports & scheduled emails.
Understand what is tracked by Google Analytics automatically “out of the box” and the types of interactions invisible to you unless custom tracking is added. Make a list of interactions you are “blind” to on your site, that you need to talk to your tech team about
Learn about the benefits of using a tag management system like Google Tag Manager (GTM), and why you should ask your technical team to use Google Tag Manager for both your sites and apps.
NOTE: The last hour of the workshop will be dedicated to taking the Google Analytics Exam.

If you are looking for an introduction to Google Analytics, Google offers excellent FREE introductory video training in their Analytics Academy. Though, it won't be as interactive and fun as this full-day workshop.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Ramli John is a Google Analytics and Google Adwords certified, data-driven and results-focused full-stack growth marketer with over 9 years of marketing experience. After receiving a B.Math degree from University of Waterloo, Ramli worked at PepsiCo and in a wide array of environments from in-house, freelance, B2C, e-commerce, multi-sided market and B2B. He’s led marketing teams for VC-funded tech companies in San Francisco, New York, and Toronto. He's a digital marketing instructor at RED Academy and part-time marketing professor at Centennial College. When not optimizing websites or exploiting data-driven routes to grow businesses, you can find him rock climbing, writing or riding his motorcycle.
