ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
An inspired leader, Steve DeAngelo has almost four decades of activism and advocacy in the cannabis reform movement. His vision and leadership have been featured by news teams from around the globe including major news outlets in the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, Brazil and the United Kingdom. The media has featured Steve DeAngelo's landmark Harborside Health Center in their coverage in the emerging cannabis industry in California and nationwide for a reason. It is a place where safe access, compassionate and responsible use and lab tested high quality medicine is offered to patients in great need of relief from a wide range of medical conditions. Patients come first at Harborside. Go here for more...
Hezekiah is a lifelong grower who moved from his ranch in Humboldt to focus on public policy. As the Executive Director of the California Growers Association he works to understand and balance between the interests and perspectives of several hundred cannabis growers and business owners. His work is focussed building a grower friendly regulated marketplace for cannabis in CA. However, Allen has also worked on forestry, water and transportation policy. A poet and a dreamer, Hezekiah balances between big picture vision, humor and a realistic assessment of the policy landscape and the challenges facing California growers and business owners. ABOUT THE VENUE
For October only we are hosting the event in downtown Nevada City at the historic Nevada Theater, located at 401 Broad St, Nevada City, CA 95959. Conscessions will be available. Enjoy the selection of craft beers, fine wines & soft drinks. Please, no outside food or drinks allowed. All-ages are permitted to attend.
Thanks go to our event sponsor Triminator® for helping make this event possible.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience engineering woodworking and forestry tools, our founder designed a big marijuana trimming machine to increase processing speed with a patented trimming system to provide a precise and beautiful trim. After hundreds of hours of testing, growers were so impressed with the machine’s mechanical precision and raw speed they affectionately named it the Triminator®. It was built for maximum efficiency and finished with details that make every grower’s life a little easier.
Why should I attend?
Personal connections are the key to professional success. Through the wide variety of events offered to members of Women Grow, trustworthy business relationships sprout from the face-to-face interactions of our members. Together we have more power. As the cannabis industry grows on a national and global scale, women have the opportunity to build a new American industry from inception and redefine the workplace to create environments in which we can flourish and define our own destiny, and cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.
How can I get the most out of networking events?
We recommend bringing business cards and a pen to take notes. If you don't have business cards, check out Moo for 10% off your first order (and your first order supports Women Grow). Watch our video on networking tips from Women Grow founding members.

What are my transportation/parking options?
There is plenty of public parking around the venue. Carpooling is always encouraged, so find a friend and make it a date!
