Purchase gift passes today, and when we reopen, redeem online for admission tickets. After the purchase of your gift passes, you will receive a code within 48 hours which will allow the gift pass holder to go online and book their admission tickets for the date and time of their choosing. Ticketing is currently closed due to the COVID-19 Tier 3 Mitigation order by Governor Pritzker. Once we are allowed to reopen, we will send an email announcing that ticketing has opened and the gift pass holder may go online to book admission ticket(s). Please bring the admission ticket with QR code to the museum on the date and time selected for entry into the museum. Information about Museum of Illusions Chicago and your future visit: Designed to amuse, amaze, and stimulate the senses, the Museum of Illusions features more than 80 unique visual and educational installations appealing to locals and tourists of all ages. We operate with two goals: to educate and to entertain. Our exhibits unveil the mechanics behind mind-bending illusions while also shocking the senses and playing on perception. Whether it's the spinning sensation through our Vortex tunnel, sizing up your partner in our Ames room, or defying gravity in our Reverse room, your mind will get a workout and your body will get a laugh. The first Museum of Illusions opened in 2015 in Zagreb, Croatia. Today, there are over 20 museums globally including U.S. locations in New York City, Dallas, and Kansas City. The concept of the Museum offers an original and unique experience to visitors, locals, and tourists that will create lasting memories. Within the Museum, there is also a "Dilemma" indoor playroom and "Dilemma" shop where visitors of all ages can play, compete, learn, and buy mind challenging games that encourage creative thinking. A ticket to the Museum of Illusions Chicago includes full access General Admission experience which lasts approximately 1 hour. These Gift Passes must be used to purchase tickets, and tickets must be purchased online for a specific date and entry time. Once you've purchased your admission ticket, please arrive at least ten minutes early for your time slot. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may be denied entry. Tickets will not be available at the door. Please arrive on time and prepared to follow our COVID-19 Safety Standards. The health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. With this in mind, we have several safety measures and procedures in place that are in accordance with CDC and local government guidelines.
