As the seasons shift and nature begins to shed its layers, so can we. Our society is sometimes so far away from these cycles that we feel a sense of disconnection from ourselves. The fabric of our being is interwoven with the energy of the earth below and the sky above. This sense of interconnection or oneness is the ultimate goal of yoga. It gives us an opportunity to experience something greater that we are connected to. This gentle flow style practice will help tune you back into the rhythms of your body, breath, and mind so we can feel into what needs to be released. Let's soften our grip on the things that are weighing us down and head into the yin season feeling grounded and clear. Cody Homa and Sebastian Bolessa will be accompanying the class with live music as they hold space for us to take a deep dive inwards through rhythm and sound.
A portion of all ticket sales are donated to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. No prior yoga experience required! The class is accessible to all levels of practitioners with many options and variations of postures offered. It is nice to have a warm layer to slide over you during savasana. There will be a few extra mats available if needed.
