The Fast Track to Business Start-Up Workshop is an intensive 20 hour workshop* that is offered over a 3-day period. This workshop will be facilitated by a New York State Small Business Development Center (NYS SBDC) Business Advisor, and includes a variety of presenters who are all experts in different facets of small business start-up. March 11, 13, 18 9am - 4:30pm each day Topics will include: Business Plan Development Legalities Hiring Employees Marketing Social Media Financial Management Business Financing Options *The Fast Track workshop also meets the requirements of the NYS SEAP (Self Employment Assistance Program) through the Department of Labor. Facilitated by NY SBDC Business Advisor Kellie Greene. About Kellie Greene: Kellie Greene is a Senior Business Advisor with the Onondaga SBDC. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University and an MBA in International Business from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, Kellie holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) with NASBITE. She also serves on the Board of Governors for NASBITE and is a certified trainer for the CGBP exam. Kellie has over 30 years of professional business experience in both the corporate world and as an entrepreneur. Prior to coming to the SBDC she had her own global logistics and supply chain consulting business servicing clients around the globe. Her experience encompasses both domestic and international logistics and supply chain management, transportation, warehousing and distribution, import/export operations, trade compliance, manufacturing operations, online marketing and sales. She brings a wealth of knowledge for advancing global business and operations. Her previous employment includes roles as the Director of Global Logistics and International Trade for the Oneida Group and overseeing global operations in 60 counties for both Oneida LTD and Anchor Hocking divisions, as well as with the Marietta corporation and Carrier Corporation. Her experience spans multiple industries to medical device manufacturing, electrical components, pharmaceutical and cosmetics, food and beverage and many others. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses domestically or internationally.
