Join Austin Durant, founder and Chief Fermentation Officer of Fermenters Club as he takes you into the wild and wide world of fermentation!
We will be holding the workshop at Bear Valley Organics, a very special, sacred place nestled in Bear Valley, just between Escondido and Valley Center. The farm is 117 acres and has rolling hills, avocado, fig and guava trees, a seasonal stream running through, native oaks and other vegetation, and of course an organic veggie garden from which we will be picking veggies to ferment!
In this workshop, you will
LEARN all about food fermentation and how easy and safe it is
TASTE a variety of naturally fermented veggies, including several varieties of sauerkraut
MAKE your own jar of sauerkraut to take home
TOUR the beautiful Bear Valley Organics farm
And because it is the weekend, we will be pouring Boochcraft's artisanal local high-alcohol kombucha to guests who are 21 years old and above!
