Farm Stock is an event put on and hosted by the Alaska Farm Bureau. All proceeds from the concert will go to building programs and services to help our farmers and build a more sustainable and reliable local food supply. Alaska's farmers produce roughly 5% of food Alaskans purchase. That number is very low and shows how vulnerable we are when it comes to the food supply. Our goal is to help give Alaska's farmers and ranchers more resources to help better feed Alaskan's, it is a win win for everyone. So join us and help put Alaskan grown food on every table in Alaska!
Jenny Tolman Bio:
Jenny Tolman has a razor-sharp wit and a throwback sound, Jenny is on deck to become her generations Roger Miller- a comedic troubadour with a decidedly feminine perspective, offering savvy wordplay and wisdom farm beyond her years.
With titles like "High Class White Trash", her debut album "There Goes the Neighborhood" lit up Nashville in 2020 by delivering engaging snapshots of small-town life in the fictional Jennyville. Not many new artist would step into the spotlight quite so brazenly, but doing so has been worth the gamble thus for for Tolman Who Music Row's Robert K Oermann says is "practically single-handedly bringing humor back into country music".
Tolman's sophmore album "Married in a Honky Tonk", which made Wide Open Country's list of 'the Most Anticipated Country Albums of 2022', was released in March to critical acclaim. Wtih American Songwriter praising it as "Stunning" and Billboard raving about her "In-your-face humor and witty lyrics that have become increasingly rare in country music".
