Tahira Rehmatullah is Partner at Highlands Venture Partners and President of T3 Ventures, and member of the board of directors for Akerna Corp., Ceres Acquisition Corp., and Superette. From brand building to hedge funds, Tahira has previously held positions at Hypur Ventures, MTech Acquisition Corp., Marley Natural, Privateer Holdings, City First Enterprises, Perry Capital, and Ernst & Young. She is an investor in and advisor to numerous cannabis and hemp businesses and entrepreneurs. She also serves on the board of the Last Prisoner Project, and is dedicated to developing female and minority leadership in the industry. Tahira earned her MBA from the Yale School of Management and B.S. in Finance from The Ohio State University. She resides in New York City.
Jennifer Cabrera, Esq. is a co-chair of the Litigation and Arbitration practice group at leading cannabis law firm Vicente Sederberg, and co-manages the firm’s New York office. With over a dozen years of experience in dispute resolution, she has represented clients in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Jennifer understands that no one wants to find themselves in a dispute, and works with clients to find cost-effective and lasting solutions. Jennifer also assists clients with regulatory and commercial matters relating to cannabis and hemp, with a focus on the New York and New Jersey markets. She has worked with cannabis companies since 2014 and is actively involved in legalization and social justice efforts in New Jersey.
Lara Fordis is a market research veteran and co-founder of CannaCurious Insights. She has vast experience using innovative approaches to collecting insights to guide smarter, data-driven decision making.Her work spans across multiple methodologies from national surveys with the CannaCurious to virtual focus groups with budtenders to cannabis in-home product testing with consumers. In her work with cannabis companies and Fortune 500 clients, she serves as a strategic thought-partner, developing research plans that provide the foundation for actionable, results-driven outcomes. Her mission is to help businesses of all sizes use data to make consumer-driven decisions.
