Description
Portland's unique mix of clever and quirky is an amazing breeding ground for comedy. Comedians from the area tend to stand out from the crowd, and some of our greatest entertainers have come from this area include: Ron Funches, Dwight Slade, Ian Karmel, Matt Braunger, Shane Torres and more. The 'Do What You Love Comedy Series PDX' seeks out the next generation of Portland's stand-up stars. Every month, this independent comedy showcase highlights five of the most accomplished Portlander comedians.
November 3rd lineup includes headliner:
Don Frost (Portland Amateur Comedy Competition Winner)
Don’s comedy takes on a sarcastic, loud flavor-full of insight about his rural upbringing, daily observations of the people and places he encounters, and his genuine and unique take on the human experience through his strange, frantic point of view. Don’s energetic stage presence is loud and original. You definitely don’t want to miss his show!
Other featured artists:
JoAnn Schinderle (Bridgetown, Bumbershoot, Chicago Comedy Exposition, All Jane)
JoAnn Schinderle has performed across the country in such festivals as Bumbershoot, Bridgetown, Chicago Comedy Exposition, SF Sketchfest, Hell Yes Fest, All Jane, as well as having won multiple rounds of Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction.
