You will never look at a shard of glass or fragment of stone the same way again. Learn how to beautify your home or garden with colourful mosaic art!
Our workshop will cover the basics and beyond for either interior or exterior mosaics; including basic mosaic design, introduction to materials, information on substrates appropriate for interior or exterior use and their preparation; as well as various adhesive, grouting and sealing methods.
Instruction will be delivered through a series of mini lectures, demonstrations and hands on experience. We will have lots of materials to play with during our workshop.
This workshop is great for the beginner as we will be covering tools, cutting techniques, mosaic design and tricks for setting tile mosaic. The workshop is also appropriate for the student who has already experimented with mosaics, and would like to expand their knowledge to include exterior, or permanent installations.
