Amazon Music For Artists / Amazon Music Programming sessions comprises of the following two modules:
Amazon Music For Artists
Amazon Music is one of the biggest global streaming services with unique possibilities within e-commerce, livestreaming and voice. It’s therefore paramount for artists and their teams to understand an artist’s performance on the service and to use the available opportunities to connect and engage with fans more deeply.
In this course, you will learn about how you can get access to an artist’s streaming data and promotional tools on Amazon Music for Artists – depending on which role you have in the industry. We will explain what kind of data is available as well as how to interpret and utilise this data to get the best out of Amazon Music for Artists. On top of that, we will showcase marketing and promotional tools within the app which you can integrate into your artist’s marketing strategy – pitching music for playlist and station consideration, recording voice messages with Spotlight, and livestreaming by connecting the artist’s Twitch account with their Amazon Music for Artists profile.
Amazon Music Programming
Learn how to get your music into the ears of more listeners on Amazon Music. In this course, you will learn how Amazon Music is unique in its approach to curation, what its Programming team looks for when curating music for playlists and stations, what programming opportunities exist, and which data points help inform those decisions. As part of this, we will walk you through Amazon Music’s different playlist categories across multiple genres and locales so you become an expert on Programming on Amazon Music – which will help you drive success for your artists on this major DSP. We will also offer useful tips on how to increase discovery via Alexa as well as streams via algorithmic curation. Finally, we’ll cover how artists and their teams can pitch new music for programming consideration using the Amazon Music for Artists app, and how to craft a convincing pitch.
