The 2024 Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour Series at Croke Park continues when Clare legend Ollie Baker joins staff of the GAA Museum on a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Croke Park ahead of the first All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final.
Clare’s commanding Midfielder, Ollie Baker, won the Liam MacCarthy Cup twice during his inter-county hurling career with the Banner County. He secured his maiden Celtic Cross in 1995, which was the Munster men’s first All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship title since 1914. This victory was quickly followed up with another title in 1997. Ollie was selected at Midfield on the All-Star teams, in each of those All-Ireland winning years. In addition to his inter-county achievements, Ollie is also an All-Ireland champion with his club, St. Joseph’s Doora-Barefield, winning the Tommy Moore Cup with them in 1999.
This tour is part of the Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour Series. These special tours, first introduced in 2008, provide fans with an unforgettable opportunity to hear memories and anecdotes at first hand from their GAA heroes.
