Hailed as the Punchdrunk or Secret Cinema of the horror genre, Bloodbath by ScreamWorks is a 70-minute immersive experience that’ll have you questioning whether it is a real event at all; or, rather, a sinister plot by a cunning serial killer to find the parts he needs to complete his Great Work.
As a guest, you’ll be blindfolded and taken to the scary family home of Jack and Abel in Bethnal Green, where nothing is as it seems and your fate will lie in the balance.
Outwit these two killers and you might just make it out alive; but will you want to? Perhaps you would prefer to stay tied up on Jack’s wall forever?
While this event is not for the faint-hearted, it is more of a psychological thriller than a traditional ‘haunted house’ attraction. You will be made to feel like you are the main character in your favourite horror movie.
By entering, you provide your advance consent to being touched and tied up. However, you will not be harmed and you can revoke your consent to the above at any time by using a safe word or action.

Where does Bloodbath take place?
Bloodbath takes place in Jack’s family home, which is a 2-minute walk from Bethnal Green Tube Station (Central Line) and a 10-minute walk from Bethnal Green Overground Station.
To protect Jack’s privacy, the precise location of his home is a closely guarded secret. You will be emailed meeting instructions by 11am on the morning of your booking. For travel planning purposes, assume that the postcode of Jack’s home is E2 9LE.

What are concession tickets?
We offer a 20% discount for students in further or higher education (or in an approved apprenticeship scheme) and for key workers, including NHS workers, members of the Armed Forces, prison officers and ‘Blue Light Professionals’.
Each ticket holder must be able to present a photo ID or document proving their entitlement to this discount. If you cannot prove your entitlement, you will be required to pay the cost of a Standard Adult ticket or may be refused admission to the event.
What does a VIP pass entitle me to?
Guests with VIP Passes will receive a free gift from Jack, which will either make you soft and go ‘oooohhh’ or hard and scream. Expect weird.
Do you have a cloakroom service?
For your own safety, you will be required to remove any coats, bags, gloves, scarves, hats and jewellery for the duration of the event. You will be given a small secure bag to put these in, along with your mobile phone, which we will ask you to switch off. Your possessions will be returned to you or your next of kin, upon conclusion of the event. The cloakroom service is provided free of charge presently.

ScreamWorks produces hyper-realistic immersive experiences designed to make you feel as if you have been tansported inside a movie.

I have a disability, is this event suitable for me?

What should I wear?
We recommend that you wear warm, comfortable clothes and shoes (with good grip) that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
I have a 6:00pm ticket, when should I arrive.
Please arrive at the agreed meeting place no earlier than the time stated on your ticket. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be denied admission (and your ticket will need to be rescheduled).
Will I be separated from my friends?
Guests will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis in groups of 6 people. We will do our best to admit you and your friends in the same group.
Is the event suitable for children?
This production is only suitable for ages 18+. There will be no admittance to anyone who, if asked, cannot provide photographic ID proving that they are aged 18 or over.
I have a medical condition, is this event suitable for me?
This event is not suitable for persons with any heart conditions or who have a particular sensitivity to flashing lights. If you have known contact or respiratory allergies you MUST email info@screamworks.co.uk before purchasing your tickets.
Will I be touched or harmed?
You may be touched by Jack or his team, but you will not be harmed. Under no circumstances are you allowed to touch Jack or any of his team/ victims.
Do you have bathroom facilities?
There is only one toilet at the venue. While Jack is happy for you to use it, you will only be able to access this room approximately 30 minutes into the experience.
Please remember that this is a family bathroom, used by Jack, his brother and his mother, so please do not touch their toothbrushes or other personal effects.
Is any food or drink available to be purchased at the event?
Some complimentary light refreshments will be provided during the event, free of charge. Please note that Jack and his brother Abel have no professional catering experience and do not hold up-to-date food and hygiene certificates, so eat/ drink at your own risk. If you suffer from any allergies, then it is best not to partake in their hospitality.
What kind of immersive experiences does ScreamWorks' produce?
ScreamWorks produces hyper-realistic experiences, designed to make our audiences feel as if they have been transported inside a thriller movie. Our events are truly immersive; you will not just witness our story, but will become part of it.
How scary is BloodBath? What if I need to leave early?
Each individual has their own collection of fears and their own responses to those fears, so your experience of our event will be very personal to you.
If you become too scared to complete the event, stay still and raise both hands in the air and wait for one of our event staff to escort you out of the building. You will not be entitled to a refund. Readmittance is at Jack’s sole discretion.
Bloodbath is not your typical ‘Scare Attraction’. Don’t expect zombies to chase you down a corridor, although there are a few jump-scares.
Some of our customers are terrified, others find it hilarious, some love the story-telling others find it arousing. It really depends upon you and how you interact with the experience. All we can guarantee is that you will have a lot of fun and that you will leave talking about it for hours.
