Billie Eilish is an internationally known, genre-defying singer-songwriter. Both her début album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,” and her follow-up, “Happier Than Ever,” reached No. 1 in the U.S. and in numerous countries around the world, dominated streaming lists, and garnered critical acclaim. Eilish, who has earned seven Grammys, is the youngest artist in the award’s history to receive nominations and win in all four major categories. In early 2022, she will embark on a sold-out arena world tour.
Finneas is an acclaimed songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. On October 15th, he will release his début album, “Optimist,” the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2019 EP, “Blood Harmony.” He has also penned and produced hits for his sister Billie Eilish and numerous other stars, including Justin Bieber, Tove Lo, and Kid Cudi; among his high-profile collaborations are projects with Ashe and Ringo Starr. Finneas’s work has garnered eight Grammy Awards, and, in 2020, he became the youngest person in history to win the Grammy for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
Amanda Petrusich is a staff writer at The New Yorker. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in nonfiction and her writing has been nominated for a Grammy Award. Her most recent book, “Do Not Sell at Any Price,” explored the obsessive world of 78-r.p.m. record collectors. Her criticism and features have appeared in the New York Times, Pitchfork, GQ, The Oxford American, and elsewhere. She is the writer-in-residence at New York University’s Gallatin School.
