Join chef Ivana Raca for an evening of Indonesian eats. She worked her way up the McEwan empire from the ripe age of 17 and at 24 became the first female Executive Chef at McEwan Foods' $6M empire. After a 2 year stint in Australia where she worked for Michelin starred chef Paul Froggatt, Ivana traveled to and fell in love with Bali.
She's a Chopped Canada champion, was recently named #88 in Canada's 100 Best Restaurants and her eponymouse restaurant Raca Café & Bar is already receiving much praise and is home to one of the most zen patios in Toronto.
This event is dedicated to Bali and its residents in need, as a token of Ivana's inspiration for a healthier and more balanced way of life since she visited Bali a few years ago. The funds will be used to improve basic needs for a orphanages in Bali.
She will be cooking up a menu of Indonesian tapas with some goodies from Cheese Boutique and Bali-inspired cocktails from Havana Club Rum.
