The Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) Canada, AlbertSat, and Undergraduate Astronomy Society are bringing you the Ascension 2019 Conference at the University of Alberta from March 1st-3rd.
The theme of the conference is "Sustainability on Earth and in Space" which will focus on how technology developed for space can be used to help us be more sustainable on Earth, while also considering how technology can be developed to be more sustainable in space. Over the course of the conference, there will be panel discussions, presentations, workshops, and a student space teams expo.
If you require accommodation, the Lister Center provides guest rooms on campus for students subject to availability, so book early!
