Enjoy an evening with Mac Davis and Phillip White on May 1, 2020 at our Still House Sessions. VIPs will enjoy a pre-show whiskey tasting led by Executive Bourbon Steward April Weller-Cantrell, a meet and greet and photo op, up front reserved seats, an autographed show poster, and more.
For this night ONLY, VIPs can also purchase our Premier Rye (375 ml) and have Mac Davis and Phillip White sign it along with our Head Distiller/Proprietor, Lee Kennedy.
Mac Davis is a legend among legends in the music world. A cross-over singer-songwriter with a successful acting career, Mac Davis has enjoyed much success and has the stories to go with it. He was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and awarded a star symbol on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2000 and inducted in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004. He has enjoyed hits songs recorded by Elvis Presley (Memories, In the Ghetto, A Little Less Conversation, Don’t Cry Daddy), Bobbie Goldsboro (Watching Scotty Grow), Kenny Rogers & The First Addition, Helen Reddy, BJ Thomas, Louis Jordon, Perry Como and Willie Nelson to name a few. As a singer, Mac has enjoyed hits he wrote and recorded such as No. 1 Baby, Don’t Get Hooked On Me; Top 20 One Hell of a Woman and Top 10 Stop and Smell the Roses; Lord It’s Hard to be Humble, I Believe in Music, and I Never Made Love (Til I Made Love With You). His success in acting lead him to performances on Broadway, and more than 50 big screen films and TV shows during the last 40+ years. Will Rogers Follies, North Dallas Forty, The Sting II, The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood, The Muppet Show, King of the Hill, That 70s Show, Rodney and many others.
Phillip White is an Academy of Country Music award winner and Grammy nominated songwriter that has written songs for some of music's biggest stars, including George Strait, Luke Bryan, Vince Gill, Darius Rucker, Reba, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Jake Owen and Brent Cobb. Among these include the 2003 ACM Song of the Year "I'm Movin' On," the theme song for Reba's self titled hit TV show "I'm A Survivor," and Blake Shelton's "Nobody But Me," all of which became #1 hits. As an artist, White has played some of the most legendary venues in the nation, including the Ryman Auditorium, The Grand Ol Opry House, The Station Inn, The Louisiana Hayride, The Bluebird Cafe, The Disney Theater, and The Florida Theater, just to name a few.
