Description
Join us for a nature-themed mindful writing workshop led by AllSwell Creative founder and journaling expert Laura Rubin. All proceeeds will benefit Surfrider Foundation's LA chapter.
What you can expect:
AllSwell workshops help manage anxiety, adjust mood and boost immunity via simple and accessible mindful writing activities. Whether you already have a writing practice or you're curious about starting one, this workshop will provide you with tips, tools and supportive data to help reap the mental, professional and physiological rewards of journaling.
Attendees receive an AllSwell notebook of their choice ($24 value), writing implements, etc. Refreshments provided by Four Brothers Wine and JuneShine (because writing is thirsty work) and some goodies from Labbe. And nobody will be asked to read aloud from the pages of your journals but you'll come away with actionable tools to help you be more productive and feel better on a day-to-day basis - and we could all use a little of that.
*This event will be held outdoors, responsibly socially distanced. While we understand and are respectful of varying vaccination preferences, this is intended to be a fully vaccinated event. Space is limited.*
**Alcohol beverages are only for 21 years old and above. IDs will be checked.**
