DANIELA CARMONA & her Band
Cantautora, bailarina, actriz, y periodista Colombo-Canadiense. Nacida en Colombia, creció en Nueva York donde empezó a cantar y a bailar. Daniela obtuvo su
licenciatura en periodismo y comenzó a trabajar en radio, televisión, cine y comerciales.
Actualmente vive y trabaja en el mundo del entretenimiento en Canadá y Colombia.
Colombian-Canadian singer-songwriter, dancer, actress, and journalist. Born in Colombia, she grew up in New York, where she started singing and dancing. Daniela obtained her degree in journalism and began working in radio,
television, film and commercials. She currently lives and works in the entertainment world in Canada and Colombia
Based in Vancouver, Mesclanza consists in a group of very talented people from different parts of the world.
None of the members are originally from Vancouver but we
all met here. We come from Ontario, Italy and Spain. The mix of different cultures is key to the influences the band has.
They play rock, reggae, funk , latin and anything that can make you to dance.
Mesclanza is a made up word that implies mixture.

- Promoter and Organizer of Mexican parties, Live Bands and Salsa Competitions and Shows
- University of Salsa in Puerto Rico, certification of attendance for Salsa DJ Diploma, July, 2004
- Played at the 2nd Annual Vancouver Salsa Congress Sept. 2004
- Latin Festival in Comox ( a sold out event twice in 2004)
- Latin Festival in Port Alberni ( a sold out event in 2003 & 2004)

▪︎ Unless otherwise noted at point of ticket purchase, seating is unassigned, and first come first served. If you're attending a seated event, please choose a location suited to your party size.

▪︎ Our seating is a combination of high tables, bar stools, and cocktail tables with chairs. If you require assistance with this, please make a note when purchasing tickets or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and VEC staff will do their best to accommodate.
▪︎ There are three multi-user, gender-inclusive bathrooms with stalls. One bathroom has a larger stall with its own sink and a grab bar (more details in the ‘Bathrooms’ section).
▪︎ The Victoria Event Centre currently does not have an operational elevator, and there is one long flight of stairs at the venue entrance. The only way into the VEC is up 27 wood stairs, 11″ deep, 6″ high. There are wooden 2.5” handrails 38” up the wall on each side of the staircase (54” apart, so not graspable on both sides at once. See further details in the ‘Getting Inside’ section)
