Advanced Marbling Workshop

Marbling is the art of floating and designing watercolors on a base fluid then permanently transferring the design to paper. Colonial Williamsburg-trained instructor, Ramon Townsend of ColonialBindery.com, will lead the group through the entire marbling process. Participants will take home their finished scarves.
Participants will also be taught Turkish Marbling, or Ebru, the Art of Cloud Painting. Participants will take home their finished papers. Marbling students who take the bookbinding courses may use their papers for book covers. No prerequisite is required.
Workshop Admission: $145/Person, all supplies included. Ages 8 & Up. (Ages 8 – 17 must be accompanied by an adult). Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 6 participants.

Workshops are limited to 6 persons maximum to allow for social distancing.
All participants must abide by social distancing procedures.
For the safety of our visitors and staff, any participant with visible signs of sickness (cough, etc.) will not be allowed to join the tour and will be given a refund. Please stay home if you are sick.
