Description
Lost Glasgow joins the Britannia Panopticon to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Traditionally a time of magic, odd happenings and strange tales, join our motley cast for a night of laughter, Glasgow songs, and vintage images of the city.
For such a night we need a minstrel, a fool, and a ‘rude mechanical’. Step forward your lords of misrule: actor and musician Allan Tall, Scottish stand-up legend Stu Who?, and Lost Glasgow curator Norry Wilson (his Bottom has been much admired!).
What fools these mortals be!
Add in a fun but fiendish Glasgow trivia quiz, and it could be the most enchanted night of the year.
Your hostess and MC for the evening is the Pantopicon’s own Judith Bowers – “Though she be but little, she is fierce!”
Dim the light and let your imagination take flight…“If we shadows have offended,Think but this, and all is mended,That you have but slumbered hereWhile these visions did appear.”
