Anne is thrilled to have found her way to Marshall Rosenberg’s work and is deeply grateful for the enormous difference these tools have made in her life. Barbara is a certified professional coach and workshop facilitator trained in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with the founder Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg. She has offered NVC workshops, NVC practice groups and life coaching for over ten years. Her study with teachers like Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie and Brene Brown supports her joy in sharing the journey of transforming ourselves, our relationships and the world we live in. She has been on faculty with the Alberta Yoga College presenting Yoga of Communication, currently offering the workshop Mindful Communication at Calgary Yoga and Meditation Centre. A recent participant, Lisa, says: "Words can't express how grateful I am to have found you, and all the ways my and others lives have been enriched because of this life-affirming style of communication you so masterfully teach."

Al Tinholt brings an inviting compassionate presence to our event. He is quick to step out of the theory to demonstrate with poetic ease... this is what it sounds like! Music to the ears!
A husband, father, community leader, facilitator/coach, and a long time consultant and CEO. His special interest in transformative communication took root in 1994 when he worked with youth peer support in service programs. In 1995 he co-founded an outdoor experiential leadership experience in the backcountry of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. He also created a popular workshop series called Language of the Heart (LOH). He completed NVC international intensive training with NVC founder Marshall Rosenberg, is a member of the CNVC Trainer Community Certification Program and among other qualifications is certified as Grief Recovery Specialist.
His passion for compassionate communication, conflict transformation, restorative circles and conscious leadership has brought him to lead in diverse settings. He facilitatex individual edu-therapy, couples co-counselling, community practice groups, treaty 7 workshops, women's correctional facilities, social services ngo's, and Alberta health services/regional public school initiatives to name a few,
Al is also a professionally registered, award winning biological/environmental engineering consultant with extensive experience facilitating multi-stakeholder groups, chairing leadership and advocacy committees, technical forums, strategic planning sessions and corporate board tables!
