The World Affairs Council and Seattle Public Schools International Schools are pleased to invite you to attend one or more of a series of workshops on 21st Century Global Competence. Each of the three workshop sessions is $30.00. Sign up for the first one today and discover new ways to internationalize your classroom!
The goals for this first session, An Introduction to Global Education, include: Defining and exploring the four domains of global competence, identify what you are already doing with your students around Global Competence and think about where you would like to go, explore resources to help in globalizing your existing curriculum, and learn more about the components of international education in Seattle Public Schools. The workshops are 2 hours in length with an additional one-hour on-line for 3 free clock hours. Participants will also receive light snacks and additional resources. Our 2nd and 3rd workshops will be January 10 and March 7. We look forward to seeing you on November 1st!
