About the event Clashes, collisions and historic rivalries. There’s so much to look forward to when the 2023 Wheelchair Rugby European Championship comes to Cardiff’s iconic Principality Stadium from 3-7 May. Expect trills, spills, and heart-pumping action as this one-of-a-kind sport steps on to one of rugby’s most famous stages. This is rugby, as you’ve never seen it before. With the European title and qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games at stake, these top athletes will be putting everything on the line in this spectacular showcase of wheelchair rugby. What you'll watch with this ticket With this ticket for Thursday 4th May you’ll be treated to four games of thrilling wheelchair rugby, as Europe’s best eight teams collide in the pool games. Your ticket includes: Israel v Denmark Switzerland v Great Britain Czech Republic v France Netherlands v Germany The competition schedule may be subject to change. 🌈 Pride Night 🌈 Your Thursday ticket includes entry to our spectacular Pride Night, in association with Pride Cymru. Settling in for the final match of the day at 5.30pm, you’ll be greeted with a Pride-branded Principality and a buzzing atmosphere. There will be plenty of opportunities to donate to Pride Cymru as well as a healthy stash of unique Pride-themed merch to get your hands on. Pride Night will be in full swing from 5.30pm but your Thursday ticket will give you all-day access! So whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community or not, head down to show your support for a fun-filled evening of thrills and spills! Venue seating plan All tickets are sold as general admission tickets with no allocated seating. On Thursday 4th May, only the Lower Tier (blocks L8, L9 and L10) will be open alongside our on-pitch grandstand and wheelchair accessible viewing areas. Your ticket will allow you access to seats in these areas on a first come first served basis. Spectators with accessibility requirements We want to ensure that our event is open to all spectators. Please email us at access@wreuro23.com and we will discuss any accessibility requirements you have. You can also read ore about the Principality Stadium’s existing facilities here but please note some of this information may not be applicable to our event (e.g. wheelchair accessible viewing area locations).
