CrossFit 908 is partnering up with Two Roads Brewing Co. to bring you an awesome one day co-ed partner competition. The event will have three scheduled workouts and one floater workout. There are three divisions in this event - Rx, Scaled, Novice. We plan to run the day on a tight schedule and anticipate finishing no later than 3pm. Two Roads is planning a cool down after party at Stirling Hotel's Beer Garden where we hope you will all join us for some non-exercise fun. More details to come about that.
Also 30% of the event's proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes Foundation which raises money to help prevent birth defects, premature births, and infant mortality. Our son, Liam, was born 7-weeks early this past December. We know that the care he received today was not available 10-20 years ago, and we want to help ensure that going forward that care continues to improve.
The day is slotted to be a ton of fun with events that truly rely on you and your partner working as a team. We look forward to a great event!
Registration includes a t-shirt and beer per athlete.
The events are as follows:
Event #1 - "Snatch Relay"
4 Rounds For Time (5 minute time cap) -
M - 10 alternating DB Snatch (Rx = 80# / Sx = 50#/ Novice = 40#)
20m Shuttle
F - 10 alternating DB Snatch (Rx = 50# / Sx = 35#/ Novice = 25#)

****Note - The DB will need to be advanced to next cone after each set of 10 snatches.
Event #2 - "Assault and Battery"

50 Calorie Assault Bike (Sx/Novice = 40 cal Bike)
40 Handstand Push Ups (Sx = 30 HSPU to 10#plate + Abmat/ Novice = 30 Ring Rows)
30 Wall Ball Over 8' Pull Up Bar to Partner (Rx = 25#/ Sx = 20 reps @ 20#/ Novice = 20 reps @ 14#))
20 Muscle Ups (Sx = 15 Pull Ups/ Novice = 15 Kettlebell Swings each @ 53/35#)
10 Rope Climbs (Rx = 15ft / Sx = 5 Rope Climbs to 12ft / Novice = 5 modified rope climbs from laying position on ground to standing)
*****Note - Each partner must complete at least one rep/calorie per station before moving onto next movement
