About Amber
Limb Difference: Congenital
Type: Missing Right Forearm & Hand
Sport: Softball
Amber was born without her right forearm and hand. From a young age,
sports were always in her life, and her main passion revolved around
softball and catching. Growing up, she never knew of any limb different
athletes like herself, but she strived to quicken her glove transfers
from middle school to high school ball.
Amber was offered a scholarship and continued to play softball at
Camden County College for two years. She currently is pursuing her
degree in Health and Exercise Science with a specification in Wellness
Management from Rowan University. She is looking to continue her
education to receive her Masters of Occupational Therapy, and plans on
continuing to stay connected to her work with the limb different
community.
