Do you ever find it frustrating to talk about racial issues with some of your friends, family members, and co-workers?
White Ally Toolkit Workshop • Pittsfield • October 28 • 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
This
interactive, skills-based workshop is designed to help you have more
effective conversations about race with white friends, relatives, and
neighbors.
Learn ways of working with
empathy, personal narrative, and
dialogue that help open minds and hearts. If this calls to you, we'd love to have you join us!
Your workshop leader will be Dr. David Campt, the founder of the White Ally Toolkit project.
Hi, Rosa here. As a local community member, I am delighted to be bringing Dr. Campt to our area. While he has led this workshop previously in different parts of the country, this will be a first here in the Berkshires and in the NY Capitol region!
Our local sponsor for the Pittsfield workshop on Saturday October 28 is Multicultural BRIDGE. Part of the workshop fee will go toward supporting BRIDGE's educational programs in Berkshire County.
